Mr Pang and I were very encouraged by the spirit shown by the Sec 1s. They were very eager to display their talents and most importantly, we can really tell that they WANT to be part of the SYF Team (knowing that the bulk would come from the Sec 2s and 3s).
It was a heart-warming moment when some of the Sec 1s, who thought they did badly for the audition, requested for a 2nd try to further prove their talents.
We are totally impressed and encouraged by the enthusiasm and the unrelenting learning attitude shown by the Sec 1s.
Keep it up, Sec 1s!! :)
Some TIPS for the rest who are going to have their audition soon:
- Don't be afraid to sing out loud!
- Know your parts well.
If you are the type who likes to sing softly to yourself and murmur your way thru the song, then you are most likely OUT of the team.

PS:
Being out of SYF does NOT mean you are out of choir.
You will still be involved in the NDP and year-end Drama Night (which will help you earn more CCA points too!).
