It does not matter if you are trying to survive through the last-min preparation, or steadily doing your revision, it does help to know the deadliest morale-killers to avoid round this
period of time! And coincidentally, they all start with the letter D!!!
Presenting to you the THREE DEADLY Ds:
- Distraction
- Discouragement
- Doubt
Morale-killer #1: Distraction
Notice how easy it is to be distracted by the surrounding temptations? Esp. during the exam period? ahahaha!
Well, dear ones, you sure know what these temptations are... - PC games, Facebook, MSN, television programs, even sleeping for prolonged hours!! - just to name a few, these are some distractions that draw our attention away from the more important and urgent matters.
Dear ones, are you mindful of these distractions around you?
Morale-killer #2: Discouragement
Are you feeling discouraged after several attempts to solve some Math algebra? Or are you feeling vexed and disheartened when you realise that your buddies are doing well in their preparation when you are not?
The truth is, when we are distracted (distracted by how others are progressing, by the little setbacks we face...), discouragement is just around the corner!!! Ready to pounce on us like a hungry predator!
Dear ones, don't be an easy prey to discouragement. Always believe you can do it!
Have patience - keep trying and never say give up!
Morale-killer #3: Doubt
The last thing you should do during this critical period of time is to DOUBT your own capabilities!!! NOOOO!!
Trust that you will reap what you sow and with patience, diligence and perseverance, all things are possible! :)
'nuff said.
Wishing you all the best for the coming MYE!!!
And remember, stay away from the 3 Ds!
Love,
~ ms ang
