Sing with your EYES!

Hey, people!

It is apparent that some of you sing "Mairi's Wedding" as though you are attending her funeral!:(

Please bear in mind that STAGE PRESENCE involves both your singing techniques and your FACIAL EXPRESSION!

3 BIG NO-NOs:

NO dead-fish look!
NO wandering eyes!
NO swaying of hands and legs!

The YI Choir

The YI Choir was formally re-established in 2008. With the support of the Performing Art Program (PAP), the YI Choir, to date, has about 80 members.

This SATB choir, though very young and raw, has put up several performances to the public. She had her inaugural public performance during the School Annual Award Celebration (AAC) 2008. In Oct of the same year, the YI Choir performed for the School First Musical Night, held at the Millenia Institute. The Choir even performed at a China High School (Tie-Yi-Zhong High school) in Xi-an.

Under the strict but caring guidance of Ms Khor Ai Ming, this re-established choir achieved the Silver Award in their first SYF Competition in April 2009.
