Dear choir,
Watching you people mature within this one year is one of the greatest joy in life. Since the days of "Let's Celebrate life", " You raise me up" where you people sing in unison, to "White horses" and the "Phantom of the opera", you people have improved by leaps and bounds. Seeing you people behaving so professionally and beaming with pride while waiting to perform in Westmall really makes me realised that we have really come a long way.
I guess overcoming all the difficulties and having a hard time during this journey makes it more memorable for each and everyone of us. I am very sure all of you will have fond memories of YI Choir even when you people are in University or polytechnic next time.
Really hope that all of you can make it for the Hongkong trip in March 2010. Do start saving now as it will be something like a graduation trip for the present secondary 3 students. Can't wait to go Disneyland with you people and I must bring you people to try the roast goose (My personal favourite), roast pigeon and all the exciting food in Hongkong.

The YI Choir
The YI Choir was formally re-established in 2008. With the support of the Performing Art Program (PAP), the YI Choir, to date, has about 80 members.
This SATB choir, though very young and raw, has put up several performances to the public. She had her inaugural public performance during the School Annual Award Celebration (AAC) 2008. In Oct of the same year, the YI Choir performed for the School First Musical Night, held at the Millenia Institute. The Choir even performed at a China High School (Tie-Yi-Zhong High school) in Xi-an.
Under the strict but caring guidance of Ms Khor Ai Ming, this re-established choir achieved the Silver Award in their first SYF Competition in April 2009.
